MICFootfem takes a historic step with the announcement of the Madrid club, which joins the list of teams that will participate in this third edition that we see on the horizon.
This is not just another news headline; at a national level, it is the first team from outside the Catalan community to compete in the MIC family’s women-only tournament.
The club, founded in 2010, has been a national benchmark in women’s football for more than a decade and has teams of all ages, from the U9 category to the youth teams.
The tournament organisers are delighted with the confirmation of a top national club, which is also performing extremely well in Liga F, the highest division in Spain.
The third edition of the tournament, which promises to be a great celebration of women’s football, will be held in the Osona region between 12 and 14 June 2026. The towns of Vic, Manlleu, Gurb and Tona will enjoy high-level football in the U10, U12, U14, U16 and U19 categories.
